Terms of Service

1. Who we are, and what DraftInspect is
DraftInspect is operated by PT Reactively Teknologi Indonesia, a company registered in Indonesia. In these terms “we”, “us” and “DraftInspect” mean that company, and “you” means the inspector who holds the account. This agreement is between you and that company.
DraftInspect is software that helps home inspectors turn on-site photos and notes into written inspection reports and deliver them to their clients. You (the inspector) are the author of record for every report. DraftInspect drafts language for your review; you decide what to publish.
2. Your reports carry no third-party content — guaranteed
DraftInspect will never place advertising, third-party offers, insurance or warranty promotions, or any content from anyone other than you inside the reports you deliver to your clients. Your client-facing report and portal carry your branding and your findings only. This is a binding commitment, not a marketing slogan.
3. Your responsibility as author
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of your inspection reports. AI-drafted language is a starting point that you must review and edit before publishing. DraftInspect is a tool; it does not perform inspections, does not verify field conditions, and is not a party to your inspection agreement with your client.
4. Accounts and acceptable use
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login secure. You may not use DraftInspect to store unlawful content, to impersonate another inspector, or in a way that violates applicable home-inspection licensing rules in your jurisdiction.
5. Plans and billing
DraftInspect is offered on a flat monthly plan. A free trial is available. If you subscribe to a paid plan, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. Prices are stated on our home page.
Payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle is the seller on your receipt, and your bank statement will show Paddle rather than DraftInspect. Paddle’s buyer terms apply to the transaction alongside these terms.
You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing; access continues through the end of the period you already paid for. Closing your account instead cancels the subscription immediately. A refund works differently again — it ends the subscription straight away rather than at the end of the period — and refunds are covered in section 6 below.
6. Refunds
If DraftInspect isn’t right for you, ask for a full refund within 14 days of your first payment. You do not need to give a reason, and you do not need to have used the service a certain amount. We would rather you moved on with your money than stayed on a tool that doesn’t fit your work. This change-of-mind window applies once per account.
A refund ends your subscription. That is the one way it differs from cancelling: cancel, and the days you already paid for stay yours until the period runs out; take the money back, and the plan stops when the refund is issued. You keep your account either way. Your inspections, photographs, and finished reports stay where they are, and you can still sign in to read and export them — what stops is new work, because starting a new inspection and drafting with AI both need an active plan. Report links you have already shared with clients keep working; only closing your account takes those down.
After that window, DraftInspect bills monthly. We email you a few days before each renewal, so you have time to cancel if you do not want another month. Cancel any time before your renewal date and you will not be charged again; access continues through the end of the period you already paid for. And if your most recent renewal still caught you by surprise and you have not used DraftInspect since it charged, tell us and we will refund that renewal — we do not want to be paid for a month you did not mean to buy.
Refunds are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. To request one, reply to your Paddle receipt or contact Paddle at paddle.net. You can also write to hello@draftinspect.com and we will pass it on. Closing your account does not forfeit a refund you are still entitled to.
7. Your data
Your inspections, findings, photos, and client information belong to you. We process them to provide the service — see our Privacy Policy.
Both export and deletion are self-service, from Settings. Download my data produces a ZIP containing every inspection, finding, and photograph, along with the report templates and comment library you built. Close account cancels your subscription, stops every report link you have shared with clients immediately, and keeps your data for 30 days so you can change your mind — after which it is erased permanently and cannot be recovered. We email you when the account is closed and again before the deadline.
We do not delete your reports on our own initiative. Reports you have professional retention obligations for remain yours to keep.
8. Availability and limitation of liability
We work to keep the service available and reliable, but we provide it “as is” without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, DraftInspect’s liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount paid for DraftInspect in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for the content of your reports or for decisions made based on them.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we will notify account holders by email. Continued use after the change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, where our company is registered.
If something goes wrong, write to us first at hello@draftinspect.com. We will work with you in good faith for 30 days to settle it. Nearly everything ends there, and neither of us wants a legal bill bigger than a year of subscription. If it is still unresolved after those 30 days, the dispute goes to the District Court (Pengadilan Negeri) of Surabaya, Indonesia.
Nothing in this section takes away rights you have under laws that apply to you no matter what a contract says, including consumer protection rules where you live. Payment, refund, and chargeback disputes are handled by Paddle under Paddle’s own terms — see sections 5 and 6.
11. Contact
These terms are entered into by PT Reactively Teknologi Indonesia. Questions about them, and any notice under this agreement: hello@draftinspect.com.
