DraftInspect is operated by PT Reactively Teknologi Indonesia, a company registered in Indonesia, which is the controller of the data described below. “We” and “us” mean that company.
1. What we collect
Your account: your email address and the branding you enter (company name, license, logo, colors).
Your inspection data: the inspections you create — property addresses, client names and emails, findings, and photos you capture — plus the report templates and comment library you build.
Billing: identifiers issued by Paddle for your customer and subscription records, and your plan status. We never receive or store your card details; Paddle handles the payment.
2. Client information in reports
Reports contain information about your clients and the properties you inspect, including addresses and names. This is personal information that belongs to your clients. We store it to provide the service to you, and we never sell it, never use it for advertising, and never place third-party content alongside it.
3. How we use data
We use your data only to run DraftInspect: to draft findings, to render and deliver reports, to generate the branded client portal and PDF, and to operate your account. AI drafting sends your field notes and photos to our model provider solely to generate the report text; it is not used to train third-party models.
4. Report sharing links
When you publish a report, we create a private link protected by a random token. Anyone with the link can view that one report — so treat the link as confidential and share it only with your client. Links expire automatically 180 days after they are created, and you can revoke a link at any time. Closing your account revokes every link you have shared, immediately. Report pages are marked so search engines do not index them.
5. Sub-processors
We rely on these providers to operate. Each processes data only to provide their part of the service.
Vercel — application hosting.
Supabase — database, file storage, and sign-in.
Anthropic — the AI model that drafts finding language from your notes and photos.
Resend — transactional email: report links to your clients, and account notices to you.
Paddle — payment processing, as merchant of record.
Upstash — rate limiting. Sign-in throttling is keyed on the email address requesting the link, so this provider does see email addresses.
6. Retention and your choices
Your data stays until you remove it. Because inspectors often have professional obligations to retain reports, we never delete your reports on our own initiative.
Both export and deletion are self-service, from Settings. Download my data gives you a ZIP with every inspection, finding, and photograph, plus your templates and comment library. Report PDFs are not in the archive because they are rendered on demand from that same data.
Close account stops your client links immediately and keeps everything for 30 days in case you change your mind. After that your inspections, findings, photos, and stored files are erased permanently and we cannot recover them. We email you when the account is closed, and again about a week before the deadline.
7. Security
Access to your data is restricted to your account. Client photos and PDFs are stored privately and served only through short-lived, per-request links. We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest.
8. Data stored on your device
DraftInspect works without a signal, so inspections you open or capture in the field — including findings, notes, and photographs — are stored on the device you use them on, not only on our servers. That local copy is what lets you keep working in a basement or a house with no reception.
Signing out clears it, provided everything you captured has already reached our servers. If something hasn’t uploaded yet, we deliberately keep it on the device rather than delete work you would have no way to recover — you’ll be told, and it clears the next time you sign out after reconnecting.
Reports you share with clients are never stored on the reader’s device by us.
9. Cookies
DraftInspect sets only the essential cookies that keep you signed in. No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, and no third-party analytics that follow you around the web.
